Then finally in the next day, I feed this recipe to friends, and they were like have you bought it from some near restaurant? I told them no! It’s all homemade! So after that, they asked my mom to taught their moms to make this boneless chicken and waffles recipe.

  • 8 chicken tenders
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons hot sauce
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons seasoned salt
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour


  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together hot sauce, buttermilk, and Worcestershire sauce and pour mixture over chicken pieces to a ziploc bag or an airtight container.
  2. Let it marinate in the refrigerator up to 8 hours or at least 2 hours if you are in hurry.
  3. Meanwhile, Toast waffles according to package instructions.
  4. In a separate bowl, add cornstarch, flour, paprika, black pepper, seasoned salt, garlic salt, and onion powder and mix all together.
  5. Once you are finished with the marinating, add some marinade from the chicken to your flour mixture to form crumbs.
  6. Now remove chicken from marinade and put it into the flour mixture (Flour crumbs) to coat the chicken.
  7. In a skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat (275 degrees)
  8. Now fry all the coated chicken pieces, four pieces at a time, and fry until crispy and golden brown on both sides.
  9. Remove the chicken and place on paper towel sheet covered with parchment to drain.
  10. Lightly warm the waffles and add butter and allow to melt.
  11. Layer each waffle with two chicken pieces, drizzle with pure maple syrup or syrup of your own choice.
  12. Serve immediately.
